We seek a Presentation Specialist with previous professional experience in frame building and archival framing methods. The Presentation Specialist will work in the framing department, coordinating with the Senior Framer, Print Manager and Studio Director. This candidate must be detail oriented, committed to perfection, highly organized, and able to manage multiple assignments. Good communication skills are mandatory when working with clients to help manifest their vision. Candidate must be a problem solver, a tinkerer, an engineer, and an innovator. Desired Skills: 3+ years experience, mathematics, previous work with metal & wood moulding, a strong command of tools including chop saws, table saws, Cassese, and drills. Prior
work with roller mounts, pressure and thermal adhesives, inkjet prints, fine art prints and photographs, canvas and canvas stretching, paintings, Dibond, PVC and acrylic sheets would be helpful. This position is approximately 30 hours a week with the potential for growth. We also seek an Imaging Technician who is interested in high-resolution digitization of 2D materials. This person must have previous experience using scanning equipment, a strong knowledge of digital photography, industry standard formatting, and digital workflow. A high level of organization is required. The Imaging Tech will work with a variety of flatbed, drum, and in- camera recording devices to acquire image data for small and large client projects. The candidate must not be daunted by repetitive action, scanning is rigorously and necessarily redundant. However, those interested in the preservation of vintage materials and archival historical documents will be thoroughly rewarded. This position works closely with the studio manager and clients on acquiring, cataloging, and preserving artifacts. Desired Skills: Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-3 years work experience. Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom, as
well as Mac OS. This is a part- time position with approximately 20 hours a week.
