Chesapeake Arts Center is seeing a part-time lead instructor for our new early childhood arts-based program: Mini Makers!
Mini Makers is CAC’s new process art education program for students ages 3.5-5 with a mission to nurture each individual’s learning process and instill lifelong habits of creativity. Our play-based curriculum will give students the opportunity to explore and create in a safe and supportive environment, while building important skills such as idea generation, problem solving, and social skills.
The lead instructor should possess a thorough understanding of early childhood development, be passionate about working with children and have a patient, kind demeanor. Additionally, the lead instructor must be skilled in classroom management and have the ability to develop and modify appropriate lesson plans.
