Single Carrot Seeks Front of House Staff

This position is an independent contractor position on an as needed basis, depending on SCT’s production calendar and needs.

Safe Space Production Calendar:
January 29- February 23
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8pm
Sunday at 2pm

Bulgaria! Revolt! Production Calendar:
April 22- May 17
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8pm
Sunday at 2pm

Front of House Responsibilities

House Manager:

  • Attend a training and a run of a performance
  • Arrive at Venue at 6:30pm (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) or 1:30 (Sunday).
  • Set up all signage around Venue
  • Lead patrons through the Venue to the box office and to the restrooms
  • Leave Venue after show starts

Box Office:

  • Attend a training and a run of a performance
  • Arrive at Venue at 6:30pm (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) or 1:30 (Sunday
  • Set up box office and lobby area
  • Check patrons in, sell tickets
  • Stay through the show for any patrons who need to navigate the venue
  • Lock up all money
  • Clean up performance space at end of night

Compensation: All Front of House Staff is paid $30-$50 per performance.
