Experienced stage manager needed for choral-orchestral concerts Saturday Dec 12 and Sunday Dec 13, 2015 with dress rehearsal Friday night Dec 11, 2015.

Four professional vocal soloists, community choir and 22-piece period instrument orchestra performing Handel's Messiah. Classical music background or experience preferred.

Responsible for assuring correct choir, orchestra and soloist stage setup at both venues in coordination with managing director, conductor, and production techs; assisting managing director with concert day back-of-house setup; coordinating with conductor and ensemble manager (choir manager) to plan, communicate, and execute all entry, exit and lighting cues for choir, soloists and conductor before, during and after performance; troubleshooting orchestra setup/lights etc if needed; assisting vocal soloists as needed; presenting flowers/gifts to soloists at close of performance; assisting conductor and managing director as needed for successful choral-orchestral production. Must be able to lift @ 50 lbs.
