The Howard County Arts Council seeks part-time Administrative Assistant

The Howard County Arts Council, a multi-purpose nonprofit arts agency, seeks an in-person, part-time Administrative Assistant for 15-20 hours per week to provide administrative, logistical, and clerical support for the Development team and the Executive Director.

Responsibilities include general administrative and clerical office support, assisting with financial record keeping, supporting the existing membership program, coordinating meeting and event logistics and hospitality, and customer service.

Location: 8510 High Ridge Rd Ellicott City, MD 21043. Hourly pay rate is $20-$25 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications: high school diploma/GED plus 2-3 years of work experience in office administration. Experience in QuickBooks and SalesForce preferred. Must be able to use a PC computer and related office equipment and have a working knowledge of Microsoft
Office or similar applications. Must have own transportation; be able to operate an automobile; lift up to 50 pounds; remain seated for long periods of time; and bend, stoop, reach, and climb without difficulty. Occasional evening/weekend hours are required.
