Dance & Bmore seeks Teaching Artists

Dance & Bmore seeks dynamic and experienced Teaching Artists to join their summer teaching teams June - August 2022!

Dance & Bmore Teaching Artists include musicians, theater makers, singers, and dancers who work with families with young children through senior citizens.

We are hiring teaching artists to work with our FazaFam Pre-K and Elder Arts Programs this summer.

Our FazaFam Pre-K Program combines rhythm, dancing, imagination, and sing-alongs to help develop balance and movement, creative expression, and gross motor-skills in young children. Community building games and songs focus on the four FazaFam Core Values of gratitude, patience, teamwork, and safety as they emphasize children’s vocabulary growth and social/emotional development.

Our Elder Arts Program is a creative space for senior citizens to dance, talk, share recipes, stories, laugh, and sing. Each class includes a “Did You Know” segment featuring healthy how-to tips, news, and research for older adults. There is also an open mic segment where elders share songs, poetry, and stories.
