CALL FOR ENTRY: Have your work noticed and purchased by area buyers & collectors, just in time for the holidays! Maryland Art Place (MAP) is seeking artists for “UNDER $500”,our upcoming winter benefit exhibition. On Friday, December 13 and Saturday, December 14, 2019, this two-day event will promote the sale of artwork by artists in the Maryland region.
The exhibition will include 1-3 works by each artist with each individual piece retailing for$500 or less. Participating artists will receive one free ticket to the opening event on Friday, December 13. Selected artists will be issued an UNDER $500 profile form in an effort to simultaneously promote the artist during the event. Proceeds from the sale of artwork will be split 50/50 with each artist. NOTE: Proposals should be emailed to [email protected] no later than Friday, November 1, 2019 at Midnight. Subject line: Under $500 Application.

September 20 – Call For Entry, 5pm
November 1 – Call For Entry Deadline
Week of November 18 – Artists Notified of Selection
Tuesday, December 3 – Saturday, December 7 – Artwork Drop Off – 11am-4pm
Friday, December 13 & Saturday, December 14, 2019 – Under $500
Submission Guidelines: To apply please submit the following information to [email protected], subject line UNDER $500 Application before Midnight on Friday, November 1, 2019 and pay the $10 application fee. Please Note: there is no application fee for current MAP members.
