The New Partnership Will Provide Unique Benefits to Members of Each Partner Organization
The Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance (GBCA) and the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce, today announced a new partnership to provide special benefits to their members across the arts and business sectors. Beginning in March 2023, members of each organization will have access to unique networking and educational opportunities, member directories, funding, special discounts, and other curated benefits from each service organization. The partnership, which aims to strengthen innovation across sectors in the region, will launch with a special happy hour event on Thursday, March 30, at 6 p.m., at Urban Reads Bookstore located at 3008 Greenmount Avenue, Baltimore, MD.
“GBCA is excited and grateful for this new partnership with the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce. For the first time ever, we are bringing our members together to share resources and tools that will connect creative and other businesses across the city," said Jeannie Howe, Executive Director at GBCA. "The arts sector contributes $10.2 billion to Maryland's economy and is a vital part of its small business ecosystem, as such, they need access to the many goods and services produced by Chamber members.”
“The Baltimore City Chamber embraces businesses and entrepreneurs in the arts and culture community by offering various networking and program opportunities,” said Lenora Henry, Executive Director at the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce. “This is the beginning of a rewarding partnership for our members.”
