Announcing GBCA’s Director of Innovation

It gives me great pleasure to share that as of February 1, David London has assumed the new Director of Innovation position at GBCA. As a long-time member of the incredible GBCA staff, David now joins the senior team which includes Kibibi Ajanku, Director of Equity and Inclusion; and Lauren Saunders, Director of Development and Membership.

Since 2013, David has managed the Baker Artist Portfolios and associated awards, previously served as GBCA’s Marketing Manager, as well as focused on technology solutions for GBCA's audience development programs including CultureFly, and SpaceFinder.

In the more recent years as a part-time team member at GBCA, David has continued his leadership in managing the Baker Artist Portfolios and associated awards. At the same time, he shared his skills with the Peale Center and with the Jewish Museum of Maryland where he notably curated a breakthrough exhibition about magician Harry Houdini.

David has spent over 25 years creating and presenting theatrical and interactive experiences designed to spark the imagination and inspire new ways to see and engage with the world around us. He has performed as a storyteller and magician across the United States, and regularly presents lectures and workshops on magic, creativity, and "the show business."

In his new role, David will continue to provide leadership for the Baker Artist Portfolios and will bring his creative and analytical skills to the execution of GBCA’s strategic plan in development of new programming and partnerships that will strengthen and promote the cultural sector. Please join me in congratulating David on his new role!

All my best,

Jeannie
