Congratulations to Elissa Blount Moorhead!

Executive Director's Letter October 4, 2016

Congratulations to Elissa Blount Moorhead who has been chosen as Executive Director and Chief Creative Officer of Station North Arts & Entertainment, Inc. Blount Moorhead is an arts leader and artist who has served as advisor for both The Contemporary and a Public Art Commissioner since moving to Baltimore in 2014 from Brooklyn, NY, where she spent 25 years as curator, producer, and arts programmer.

In other news, The Walters Art Museum has just launched a new website housing its digital collection of manuscripts: manuscripts.thewalters.org. The new site is designed to make over 900 manuscripts, dating from the 8th to the 20th century, accessible to scholars and curiosity seekers. Featuring a user-friendly design, you can also coordinate your own online collection by gathering, saving and sharing your favorite masterpieces.
