Many of us have fallen into the bad habit of waiting until the last minute to get things done . . . especially when it comes to our taxes. Although April 15, 2015 may seem far away, taking the time to prepare and get organized is essential to reducing your tax season stress. With this in mind, the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance (GBCA) has moved its annual "Tax Prep for Individual Artists" Brown Bag from early spring to this fall to help keep your tax process as low-stress as possible!
Please join GBCA and Maryland Art Place (MAP) on Wednesday, November 5th for a Q&A session for artists on filing income tax returns. AccountantKen Prager of Ken Prager CPA will be on-hand to answer your questions based on his wealth of experience working with creative individuals.
This event is free and open to the public, but your RSVP is required. RSVP using this form by Monday, November 3rd. Bring your lunch and we'll provide water and dessert.
Work in a creative field but not an artist? Unable to attend or need more extensive help? The Baltimore CASH Campaign offers free income tax preparation assistance for individuals and families that earned $52,000 or less. Sessions are by-appointment only and book quickly.
