What exciting news from the American Visionary Art Museum this week! Please join GBCA in welcoming the new AVAM Director, Jenenne Whitfield. She is currently the president of the Heidelberg Project, the highly acclaimed Detroit-based outdoor art environment that she has been part of for 28 years. She will assume her new role at AVAM in September. We are so grateful for the many contributions of founder, Rebecca Hoffberger. Rebecca is a Baltimore treasure and is sure to continue to amaze the world.

In addition to enjoying a performance at Baltimore Center Stage, last Friday I was honored to speak to members of the National Association of Schools of Theatre’s Fifty Seventh Annual Meeting and Retreat for Administrators of Theatre in Higher Education. It was exciting to welcome this conference to Baltimore and talk about theaters in Baltimore. Did you know that there are over 30 theaters in the Baltimore area? Even with the pandemic, we continue to be a thriving hub for the performing arts.
Is it really snowing again???
