Figuring It Out is a Washington, D.C. based duo who performs a Harold-inspired set.

The spring program will feature the Fauré Requiem, Thompson’s Alleluia, The Road Home by Stephen Paulus, as well as timeless works by Brahms and Schubert.

Advanced Theatre students perform in this original production, under the direction of Gené Fouché, assistant professor and department chair of Theatre Arts.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students, seniors (over 60), active military members and veterans, as well as those with a McDaniel College ID.

On Saturday, May 3, 2025, 8 pm, the Columbia Pro Cantare chorus will present a concert celebrating Asian American/ Pacific Islander Musical Heritage at the Jim Rouse Theatre in Columbia, Maryland. The program will feature music from India, Indonesia, Japan, China, Taiwan, South Korea, and Hawaii sung in their original languages by the full chorus and Columbia Pro Cantare Chamber Singers under the direction of Laura Lee Fischer, Artistic Director. Special guests will include Kayla Currie, soprano, Isaiah Shim, piano, and dancers from Korean Culture and Art of Maryland.

Go out on a unique journey that winds through the historic Arabber farm in West Baltimore, offering a glimpse into neighborhoods often overlooked by city residents. This inner-city tour provides an authentic exploration of communities rarely seen up close, inviting participants to engage with the vibrant tapestry of urban life. Amidst these hidden corners lie an array of diverse mural styles, each waiting to be uncovered and appreciated by those who walk these streets every day.

This program features music in celebration of the marvelous new pipe organ at St. Joseph Parish in Cockeysville. Bach composed Cantata 194 Highest Wish for the Joy Feast for the dedication of a church and new organ at Störmthal, Germany in 1723. Also enjoy movements of Cantata 29 We Give You Thanks, O God, the monumental Passacaglia and Fugue in C minor for organ, Handel’s Organ Concerto in G minor, and Giazotto’s Adagio in G minor performed in this glorious new worship and concert space. Kids can come for FREE to this concert!
