The Craig Alston Ensemble celebrates Jazz Appreciation month Baltimore Style at An die Musik Live! The band will play a nice mixture of timeless standards and fresh new original music by the musicians in the ensemble.

An die Musik Live is excited to present a new monthly series featuring Charlie Reichert Powell and New River!
New River weaves, molds objects, plants gardens. The trio's sound and approach is born from Charlie's love for structuring improvisation, puzzles, repetition, and the outdoors, and is nestled somewhere between John Coltrane, Tom Waits, and Ryoji Ikeda. Their debut album releases in late 2024.

Pianist and composer Marilyn Crispell has been selected for a 2025 National Endowment of the Arts (NEA) Jazz Masters Fellowship – the nation's highest honor in jazz! Join her at An die Musik Live for a celebratory performance!
Since 1982, the NEA has chosen an annual cohort of distinguished artists who have significantly impacted the advancement of jazz music for the Jazz Masters Fellowship program. Past awardees include Ella Fitzgerald, Herbie Hancock, and Quincy Jones.
