Pro Musica Rara presents France and Its Influences
Join us on Sunday 12 January at 3:30 pm for Pro Musica Rara’s France and Its Influences. The concert will take place at Grace United Methodist Church, 5407 N Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21210.
This program of French Baroque music features two GRAMMY-winning soloists: Teresa Wakim, soprano, and Aaron Sheehan, tenor. They will be joined by Cynthia Roberts, violin; Phoebe Carrai, cello; and Adam Pearl, harpsichord and organ.
The program includes selections from Médée by Louis-Nicolas Clérambault and by Marc-Antoine Charpentier; a cello sonata by Jean Barrière and works by François Couperin.
Pro Musica Rara, Baltimore's “premier early music ensemble”, is a period instrument chamber music ensemble performing baroque, classical, and early romantic repertoire. There will be a pre-concert presentation at 2:30.
