The Columbia Pro Cantare chorus will present a “Celebration of Chorus and Brass,” at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3604 Chatham Road in Ellicott City on Sunday, March 17, 2024, 4 pm. The chorus is under the direction of Laura Lee Fischer, artistic director. For this concert, CPC will be joined by the Dunloggin Middle School Chorus and soprano soloist Kayla Currie. The program will include Bruckner’s “Locus Iste,” Liszt’s “Ave Maria,” Hailstork’s “When Storms Arise,” and “Bagatelles for Brass,” among other works. Tickets $23, $18 in advance; $2 more at door.
