The Historic St. Ignatius Church at Calvert and Madison Streets will join the Baltimore New Year’s Eve scene with its Annual Interfaith Prayer Celebration.
In this our 30th gathering with people of Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Buddhist faith traditions where we will offer thanksgiving to God for the blessings of this past year and to pray for continued blessings in 2023. Also offering prayers for the city of Baltimore will be various governmental officers – often the Maryland governor, Mayor Brandon Scott, the city council president, police commissioner, head of Baltimore Public Schools, and many others.
There will also be the incredible music by the St. Ignatius Choir, instrumentalists, and guest soloists – as well as a brass ensemble.
The Program is from 8:30 – 9:30 PM with pre-event music beginning at 8 PM. This event is free of charge.
