Single Carrot Theatre seeks a female actor, 30s-50s, for the World Premiere of Something Like Jazz Music, developed by Single Carrot Theatre, written by SCT’s Artistic Director, Genevieve de Mahy. The ideal candidate is adept at performing multiple contrasting roles, comfortable with a non-traditional rehearsal process, is a skilled mover, and is available for the dates listed below. Actors of color encouraged to submit.
SCT will be holding an audition for the role on Tuesday, December 1st, from 5pm-7pm. If you are not available on this day or time, please feel free to submit. We will find alternate slots for qualified candidates.
Payment is a $200 honorarium, to be paid within two weeks of the end of the contract.
