In 2004, GBCA launched BaltimoreFunGuide.com, an online, comprehensive cultural events calendar for the Greater Baltimore region.The site was updated and re-launched in 2008. Currently GBCA is entering the initial planning phases to update BaltimoreFunGuide.com for a third time. A popular feature of BaltimoreFunGuide.com are the weekly half-price FunSaver discount offers, which are weekly ticket deals sent every Thursday by email to over 20,000 people. A free service for the public, the information on BaltimoreFunGuide.com is shared on the Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts, Visit Baltimore, City Lit Project, and Arts Every Day websites.
In order to have their events shown on BaltimoreFunGuide.com, organizations must become members of GBCA. Members are given back-end access to the FunGuide, and may submit each of their events and distribute half-price ticket offers through the FunSaver.
